BECOMING AN ACCREDITED HEALTHY SCHOOL
Audience: Senior management and middle management. Primary and Secondary
Outcome: By the end of the course participants will have a full understanding of the process for becoming an accredited Newham Healthy School and will have devised an action plan containing a list of activities and deadlines for submission of the evidence folder.

TALKING ABOUT SEX AND DRUGS
Audience: PSHE and Citizenship co-ordinators, Healthy Schools Leads, class teachers & teachers & teachers on the certification of the teaching of PSHE programme.
Primary and Secondary
Outcome: Participants will: • be provided with an overview of statutory and non-statutory guidance relating to SRE / drug education and a bank of ideas and effective practice for use in the classroom
• share effective practice around establishing safe and comfortable learning environments • in the certification of the teaching of PSHE programme have had the opportunity to discuss and collect evidence necessary to their portfolio

CERTIFICATION OF THE TEACING OF PSHE
Audience: Participants in the certification of the teaching of PSHE programme
Outcome: Teachers will be fully prepared to complete the work necessary to receive certification in the teaching pf PSHE.

DANSI: A PSHE RESOURCE FOR FOUNDATION & KS1
Outcome: Participants will feel more confident in and develop skills to use the DANSI package effectlvely in their school, linking this into the PSHE curriculum and wider 'Healthy Schools' activity.

PRIMARY HEALTH EDUCATION NETWORK MEETINGS
Audience: Primary health education co-ordinators
Outcome: Participants will be informed about current developments in the heath education curriculum. This will enable them to be effective leaders of the curriculum area back at school by offering informed, appropriate support and advice to other teachers.
